Welcome to Double Jump Video Games. By accessing or using our website, purchasing products, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.


1. Account Eligibility and Creation
Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account and make purchases.
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. This includes choosing a safe and secure password, and ensuring that anyone who is not approved to use your account does not have access to it.
    2. Merchandise and Conditions
    Product Descriptions: We sell many pre-owned video games, consoles, accessories, toys, movies, etc. We make every effort to describe the condition of items accurately based on our condition guidelines. 
    Variability: Pre-owned items may show signs of wear, including cosmetic scratches, scuffs, or minor damage to packaging. Original cases, manuals, and downloadable content (DLC) codes may not be included unless explicitly stated in the product description / condition.
    Testing: All consoles, accessories, and any other electronic items that requires testing are fully tested before being listed for sale. We test most higher end games, and others that have specific testing requirements like games we install new batteries in, but we cannot possibly test every single game that we get in, and have a return policy in place to handle any games that are defective upon purchase. We do resurface every disc if needed, to have little to no scratching, and we clean all of our games as needed.
      3. Pricing and Payments
      Currency: All prices are default displayed in USD and exclude applicable taxes and shipping fees unless stated otherwise. Currency options can be changed to display other currencies via a selectable option on the home screen.
      Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify prices at any time without prior notice.
      Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards and PayPal. You authorize us to charge your selected payment method for the total amount of your order.
        4. Shipping and Delivery
        Fulfillment: We ship to addresses all around the world, with only a few exceptions based on country. Items are shipped to the registered address on the order / your account / your PayPal. It is your responsibility to ensure that these shipping details are 100% correct to avoid items being lost or mis-delivered. We recommend making sure your shipping address is correct on your account(s) before placing an order, and verifying that it is correct at the time of checkout as well.
        Risk of Loss: All risk of loss and title for items purchased pass to you upon our delivery to the shipping carrier.

          5. Returns, Refunds, and Warranties
          Return Window: We offer a (15) day return policy from the date of delivery for defective or damaged items.
          Defective Items: If an item fails to function properly, contact us immediately to arrange a return for a refund.
          Change of Mind: We do not accept returns for buyer's remorse or change of mind. It is your responsibility to ensure that what you are purchasing is what you want / need.
          Backwards Compatibility: Sometimes backwards compatibility requires external items to work properly, such as a Microsoft brand hard drive for an Xbox 360, or a specific model of Playstation 3 console. Companies can also add or remove games from working due to updates or lack of updates. As we do not have any control over these things, we cannot and do not guarantee any sort of backwards compatibility, and do not accept returns for any backwards compatibility related issues. 
          As-Is Warranty: Except for the functionality guarantee explicitly stated here, all pre-owned items are sold "as-is" without any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
            6. Prohibited Activities
            You agree not to use our store to:
            Violate any local, state, national, or international laws.
            Manipulate prices, exploit software bugs, or interfere with website operations.
            Reverse-engineer or scrape data from our webstore.
              7. Limitation of Liability
              To the maximum extent permitted by law, Double Jump Video Games shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our products or services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

              8. Changes to These Terms
              We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will become effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

              9. Governing Law
              These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Washington State, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
